Originally a small informational site about the insect repellent picaridin, picaridin.info has grown to be a comprehensive resource for the war on mosquitoes. Our goal is to help you and your family stay safe from these pests and the diseases they carry.

Who are we?

We are web journalists and researchers who take pride in delivering  factual information and objective, independent reviews.  We ourselves live near woods and a river - we fully appreciate the misery of living near an active mosquito population!

Unlike most so-called “review sites”, we do not manufacture or sell the products we review and we do not get free merchandise or payments in exchange for favorable reviews. This leaves us free to tell you exactly what we think. If we don’t like a product, well tell you.  If we do like something, we’ll tell you that too.
